Darragh came to Evolution Fitness looking for a way to lose weight, boost his energy, and improve his overall well-being. Like many, he wanted to make a shift in his lifestyle that would have lasting effects. And it didn’t take long for him to start seeing results.
Big Changes in Mobility and Energy
While weight loss was a key goal for Darragh, the improvements he’s seen in other areas have been just as impactful. His mobility, which had always been a challenge for him, has improved dramatically:
“Apart from weight loss and increased energy levels, my mobility has improved massively, which was always a big problem.”
Darragh is a driving instructor so is sitting most of the day which as we know know can lead to lots of problems. He is now feeling more energised and capable in his day-to-day life has been one of the standout benefits for Darragh. This new energy is fueling his fitness journey, helping him push forward with more strength and focus.
Proud of His Progress: Strength and Education
Darragh is proud of how much stronger he’s become since joining. He’s consistently increasing his strength levels on a monthly basis, and his understanding of nutrition and exercise has grown:
“I’m most proud of my increase in strength levels on a monthly basis and just being better educated around nutrition and workout exercises.”
This combination of physical progress and knowledge has helped Darragh stay motivated and keep working toward his goals, knowing he’s equipped with the right tools to succeed.
Challenges? Not Many—But Nutrition Can Be Tough
When asked about his biggest challenge, Darragh admits there haven’t been too many hurdles along the way. With the guidance of David and the coaches at Evolution Fitness, he’s found the process to be straightforward and supportive. However, keeping his diet clean has been the toughest part:
“To be honest, there haven’t been too many hurdles. David and the coaches make it plain sailing. Keeping the diet clean is probably the hardest part.”
But even with this challenge, Darragh is committed to staying on track, using the support from the team to help keep him accountable. He just started a nutrition kickstarter 5 weeks ago and he is noticing the benefits of structured nutrition.
Looking Forward: More Goals to Crush
Darragh’s journey isn’t over yet. His current focus is on continuing his weight loss and building even more strength. He’s determined to keep progressing and reaching new milestones:
“More weight loss and increased strength are my main goals right now.”
Advice for Anyone on the Fence? Just Do It
Darragh’s advice for anyone considering starting their own fitness journey is simple and direct:
“Just pick up the phone and give the lads a call. I should have done it months earlier.”
